SunRiver Golf Course located on the southern most part St. George, Utah is southern Utah's premier master-planned active adult lifestyle community, the first of its kind in the area and has been a highly successful golf development. (View the Photo Tour)
The 6,700-yard SunRiver Golf Club course has come a long way since it was originally built in 2002, and then suffered severe damage from a major flood in 2005 which destroyed 12 holes.
Fortunately for us golfers, the entire front nine has been rebuilt and re-routed, and it is a much better design than the original routing. Sparkling white-sand bunkers dot the layout, while contrasting red rock covered transition and collection areas provide enjoyable playing corridors with fun, playable golf holes.
The golf course features a varied mix of short and long holes to test golfers of different skill levels, but is a playable design for intermediate players, with very few forced carries. Golfers will enjoy endless views of beautiful desert vistas, red rock cliffs, and the mountains surrounding the Virgin River Gorge.
